Microsoft's tardiness for documentation extends DOJ oversight to 2009
Scathing words yesterday from the federal judge overseeing Microsoft's compliance with its antitrust decree, accompanied an order that effectively extends the DOJ's oversight period into the next US presidential administration. Apparently agreeing with the European Commission's assessment that Microsoft has yet to provide adequate documentation for its communications protocols, US District Judge Kathleen Kollar-Kotelly issued an order yesterday extending the Dept. of Justice's oversight period for the company by two years, until November 12, 2009. .
Naked Britney swears, spits at boutique salesperson
BEIJING, Jan. 17 (Xinhuanet) -- Add naked ranting and raving in public to Britney Spears' growing list of outrageous, less-than-motherly behavior now that the miscreant pop singer stands accused of nude and lascivious acts in a Betsy Johnson, boutique, reports Life & Style. Health centre opened
THE £6.2million health centre in Winsford has been officially opened. The supercentre on Dene Drive started treating patients last year but was not officially opened until a ceremony on Thursday. The centre has already transformed healthcare in Winsford in the short time it has been open. GP Dr Taluker is delighted with her new working home. .

Voters flock to polls on historic Super Tuesday
Democrats Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton ran neck-and-neck on Super Tuesday as John McCain vied to seal the Republican race in the biggest coast-to-coast White House nominating clash in history. Turnout was set to be high as New Yorkers kicked off the 24-state primary bonanza which rippled across the country, with the last polls set to close in California at 0400 GMT, and Alaska around 0500 GMT Wednesday.
